2026 Pan No-Gi: Jaworski and Galvão take double gold, Dorsey wins middleweight

The twentieth Pan No-Gi finished with more than 2,300 athletes competing, from juvenile divisions up to masters. Pawel Jaworski of Academia Gorila won seven matches, five of them by submission, and took double gold. Sarah Galvão won six matches for her two golds and helped Atos Jiu-Jitsu win the adult female team trophy. Elijah Dorsey of Team Lloyd Irvin won the middleweight division, beating both 2025 No-Gi Worlds middleweight finalists, and AOJ took the adult male team trophy.

Pan No-Gi is a major no-gi tournament, and this year’s edition was held in New Jersey. It is the second of the season’s No-Gi Grand Slam events, with the European No-Gi and World No-Gi competitions still to come this year.

Jaworski is the top-ranked male no-gi athlete. This was his fifth consecutive Grand Slam gold and his second consecutive major event with double gold, which leaves him one event short of the first No-Gi Grand Slam title. He is now a three-time Pan No-Gi champion after only two runs at the event. Galvão is also a three-time Pan No-Gi champion after two runs. Elsewhere on the card, champions arrived by different routes: Lucas Castro won the 122lb title with a final decided 2-1 on advantages, while Elijah Dorsey won his final by armlock.

Rome, Italy hosts the European No-Gi from October 28th to November 1st, with FloGrappling carrying it live. Jaworski can complete the title there, as it closes out this season’s No-Gi Grand Slam schedule.

No-gi means grappling without the traditional jacket, so athletes have fewer fabric grips and the sport leans more on body control and grips on limbs and torso.
